I didn't know that is also possible to change the gradient from shell32.
but.. what resource have you changed?
Thanks
look for:
background="Gradient
First number is transparency, red, green, blue
original is:
background="Gradient(argb(255,9,74,116),argb(255,32,121,146),argb(255,5,111,90),3)"
Is that ok?

I don't know if your file works on sp1 (but I don't think), but this gradient method, contrary to the hex-editing of the msstyles, works
Thank you again
i would have thought it would be roughly the same method for sp1
